DIPLOMA IN GENERAL NURSING AND MIDWIFERY (DGNM)
Duration : 3 years including Internship

  • 10+2 with English snd must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government. However Science is preferable.
  • 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
  • 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream - Health Care Science from a recognized CBSE Board/ State/ Centre.
  • Registered ANM with pass mark.
  • The upper age limit is 35 yrs. For ANM / for LHV, there is no age bar.

B.SC. NURSING
Duration : 4 years including Internship

  • A candidate should have passed in the subjects of PCB (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) and English individually with a minimum, of 45% of marks taken together in PCB at the qualifying examination (10+2)
  • Minimum age for admission shall be 17 years.(as on 31st December of that year).
  • Admission of students shall be once in a year.
  • Candidate shall be medically fit.
  • Eligibility Certificate : Candidates who have passed any qualifying examination other than the higher secondary examination conducted by Government of Tamilnadu should produce an Eligibility certificate from the TN Dr MGR Medical University before seeking admission.
  • Migration Certificate is mandatory for students from other states
